University of Arizona Global Campus Technology & Systems Operations Specialist in United States
The Technology and Systems Operations Specialist is a full-time employment opportunity in the Student Affairs Department. Reporting to the Student Success Program Manager, the role will be responsible for administering Student Affairs initiatives, providing comprehensive oversight of departmental projects, vendor management, marketing campaigns, assessment and reporting, and coordination of internal and external resources that support students and staff. The Technology and Systems Operations Specialist will be responsible for working across divisions to administer and assess projects that result in increased innovation and effectiveness.
Essential Job Duties:
Administer daily operations of internal, external, and online technical resources (such as Chronus) to ensure effective delivery of services supporting departmental programs and initiatives.
Create and administer program reports using all necessary technology tools (such as Chronus, Qualtrics, CampusVue, etc.) as directed by leadership.
Collaborate with University departments to develop, deliver, and administer new Student Affairs initiatives that support departmental and institutional objectives.
Manage project development for Student Affairs initiatives, including: defining requirements, assessing ROI, identifying important milestones, managing timeline, etc.
Oversee daily tracking of operations, delivery of services, student and staff activity within the department.
Manage assessment and survey development, administration, reporting, and analysis to monitor program quality and effectiveness.
Other duties as assigned.
1- 2 years of experience in managing short and long term projects.
Experience developing and deploying technology, preferably in an educational environment.
Able to work independently to set priorities to achieve objectives and manage multiple, diverse assignments/projects.
Possess strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including ability to make oral and written presentations through various media formats to colleagues to provide information, instructions, or explain subjects of importance.
Knowledge of e-recruiting software, internet technologies, webinars, social media, and information and contact data bases
Experience assisting students and staff with use of technical resources, preferably in a higher education setting
Knowledge of student development theories, trends, and issues
Experience working in an online/distance-learning environment
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s in educational technology, business, student development, or related discipline. A Master’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
