University of Arizona Global Campus Student Records Coordinator (HYBRID) in United States
The Student Records Coordinator position is a full-time employment opportunity. The Student Records Coordinator will aid in the processing and maintenance of student records from matriculation through graduation through diligence and detailed work, provide related services to students through excellent customer service and communication.
Essential Job Duties:
Comprehensive evaluation of degree progress prior to and at time of completion to ensure all academic and administrative catalog requirements are satisfied for degree conferral
Provide seamless and timely customer service to a high volume of both internal and external customers through a variety of methods (phone calls, chat platform, emails, and face to face)
Evaluate and process forms related to student records to ensure program integrity while upholding all regulatory and institution policies
Manage different platforms to review and compliantly release transcript records for former and current students in addition to managing the funds that are required for release
Ensure compliance with federal regulations regarding FERPA guidelines, student records maintenance and appropriate disclosure of any and all records maintained by the institution, both historical and current
Verify and update student information within records in accordance with FA regulations to assist in disbursement of financial aid and other funding
Manage grade posting and updating in SIS through reports and regular communication with faculty to ensure all grades recorded in official record are accurate
Respond to enrollment and degree verification inquiries from students and external parties
Respond to government and lender documents for validity and communication of accurate student information
Additional Job Duties (include but are not limited to):
Innovate for efficiency, department improvement, and an improved student experience
Generate and evaluate a variety of reports that assist in the maintenance of records and processing of student requests
Partner with BTS and other departments to ensure any technical updates are accurate and approved
Collaborate with other departments across the organization to improve student experiences and staff processes
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent typing skills
Strong written and oral communication
Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a registrar’s office
Experience with a student information system
Experience with previous high volume customer service
