The Student Assistant BAHRM & MHRM programs (Work Study) is a remote part-time employment opportunity in the BAHRM and MHRM programs. The Forbes School of Business & Technology Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management (BAHRM) and Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) programs is an online degree program. The Student Employee will work directly with the Lead Faculty and full-time faculty to support the program and complete assigned tasks to achieve the overall goals and objectives of the BAHRM and MHRM Programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual to learn about Human Resource Management, as well as project management, and organizational leadership.
Essential Job Duties:
Provide administrative support to the Lead Faculty in the process for hiring, training, and evaluating faculty.
Conduct research and gather data to support the MHRM through Program Review.
Act as a steward of the University while networking with prospective stakeholders, including HRM Advisory committee member organizations, prospective students, SHRM Student Chapter and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with student advisors and faculty for the SHRM Student Chapter
Collaborate with other University departments including but not limited to Career Services, Admissions, and Alumni Services, as requested and required by Lead Faculty.
Support creation and dissemination of meeting invites including, but not limited to, HRM Advisory Committee, faculty, associate faculty, SHRM Student Chapter, and other groups, as requested.
Eligible to receive Federal Work Study funding
Enrolled in a degree-seeking program with UAGC
Must be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress
Have no holds on student account
Have no history of Student Community Standards violations
Possess reliable phone, internet connection and computer
Have a minimum 20 hours per week available for work study employment
Knowledge of Zoom or other virtual meeting modalities
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven organizational skills maintaining communication records
Ability to collaborate well with diverse publics
Strong leader and follower skills. Able to self-manage, as well as to be a team contributor
Be enrolled in an FSBT undergraduate or graduate degree seeking program with UAGC. Preferred candidates will be enrolled in the BAHRM or MHRM program.
The successful candidate will be an active/enrolled student in a degree-seeking program at UAGC.
