University of Arizona Global Campus Coordinator, Strategic & Military Partnerships (Central Texas) in United States
*This is a remote position, however, the chosen candidate must physically live in Killeen or Temple, TX region (or within a 40-mile radius)*
The Coordinator of Strategic and Military Partnerships position is a full-time employment opportunity. Reporting to the Strategic Partnerships and Military Alliance Directors, the Coordinator is responsible for nurturing strategic and supportive relationships with potential transfer students from our academic and military partners, and with affiliated organizations on behalf of the University.
In addition, the Coordinator will schedule, organize, and attend events at military installations to increase brand awareness and develop relationships in the military community. The Coordinator will maintain contact with the current student population to address concerns and provide an opportunity for the students to positively interact with a university representative.

Our mission is to engage in collaborative relationships with community and career colleges, military partners, and non-traditional learning institutions, creating transformative learning opportunities for transfer students.
Military Alliance Mission
The military alliance team is dedicated to working with military affiliated students to help them reach their educational goals and serve as a liaison for the university and DoD, Military Installations.
Essential Job Duties:
Uphold the missions of UAGC and its Strategic Partnerships and Military Affiliate Divisions by:
Establishing and nurturing relationships built on trust with partner institution(s) including community colleges and affiliated organizations.
Serve as a bridge between potential transfer students and UAGC.
Represent UAGC and articulate the benefits of attending UAGC.
Be knowledgeable of current degree programs and articulate applicable transfer pathways to partner stakeholders (alumni, students, staff, military affiliate students).
Communicate proactively and in a timely manner with partner stakeholders including executive leadership, faculty, supporting departments and staff, potential students, and military affiliate stakeholders.
Develop specific plans with designated partner, establishing a consistent cadence of communication to listen, ideate, and plan social media endeavors, campus and classroom visits, presentation, lead generation goals, and more.
Propose and address strategic initiatives that promote a seamless transfer for students.
Plan and execute activities to drive enrollment and maintain a viable relationship with designated partner(s)
Plan, schedule, and conduct outreach to partner alumni, students, and employees through a variety of events including on-site and virtual informational sessions, tabling events, transfer fairs, campus and related visits, and other opportunities to share the benefits of transferring to and attending UAGC.
Be accessible and available to partner faculty, staff, and students.
Nurture relationships built on trust with military affiliations.
Must be able to gain access to DoD Military Installations.
Must understand the DoD, Memorandum of Understanding.
Have knowledge of military protocol, rank structure, and military affiliate students.
Must gain internal knowledge of departments associated with military students.
Must successfully complete military alliance training and UAGC training (Green Zone).
Must be able to obtain a “State Permit” in states that requires a permit to engage in recruitment events.
Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all UAGC programs, plus applicable regulatory, operational, and compliance guidelines and the University.
Be visible, available, and actively engaged with partner institutions and attend their events.
Adhere to all protocols and regulations associated with the partnerships.
Collaborate as a team member with fellow Coordinators, Senior Vice President of Military and Academic Partnerships, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Director of Military Alliance, the Associate Director, Articulation & Prior Learning Assessment and other UAGC stakeholders.
Communicate proactively, professionally and in a timely manner.
Recognize opportunities and make recommendations to team leadership on how to enhance operational efficiency and excellence.
Consistently attend and participate in team building activities and 1:1 support sessions.
Collaborate with team members on special projects.
Research, identify, attend, and appropriately represent the University in consortium events, memberships, conferences, and organizations.
Seek, develop, and maintain external networking opportunities and partnerships to stay apprised of industry trends and best practices.
Attend and participate in university staff meetings and special events as deemed appropriate.
Use processes and internal software to transfer, monitor, and follow up with potential student leads.
- Salesforce, PowerBI, Excel, and other internal systems for data collection and analysis
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 3 years related experience.
Existing knowledge of or prior experience working with military
Must have a valid driver's license applicable to the state in which position is located.
Must be able to travel beyond primary location in support of Military Alliance operations to include attending education fairs, military graduation fairs, conducting counseling sessions for current UAGC students, conferences, and meet with Education Service Officer and/or education staff member.
Must be able and willing to travel to partner institutions including Central Texas College, Temple College, and any future partner institutions.
Must be able and willing to represent UAGC as a Chamber of Commerce member.
Must be able to work some evenings, overnight and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements:
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms and be able to see, talk, and hear. The employee requires dexterity in using telephone, computer keyboard, mouse, etc. while seated at a desk. The employee must be able to receive, move, and unload boxes with merchandise to and from events and shipping facilities such as FedEx as well as set up and take down individual table at tabling events.
Communication Skills: While performing duties of the job, the employee is required to read and comprehend written instructions as well as electronic and written correspondence. The employee requires the ability to communicate effectively through both written and verbal means and to effectively present information both in one-on-one, small group, and sometimes, large audience situations.
Mental Demands: While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to deal with stress associated with a fast-paced work environment and multiple priorities/tasks. The employee will be required to make judgment decisions and adapt to changing work situations, grasp and apply new ideas, communicate with various personalities at all levels and have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
Work Environment: The employee’s primary work environment is at their place of residence when not visiting individual campuses, military instillations, and other relevant locations locally. Employee must be able and willing to travel between partner locations and possibly maintain limited office hours on key campuses and military instillations. Employee must have functional internet and will be willing to integrate assigned work phone number and UAGC internal functions on their personal cell phone.
Rate of Pay:
$69,000 - $76,800 annually
